Valley Of Flowers & Hemkund Sahib with Badrinath, Mana & Vasundhra Fall

 Valley of Flowers is a Vibrant National Park (UNESCO world Heritage Site), located in Uttarakhand & is famous for its beautiful Meadows of Alpine Flowers & Variety of Flora. It is High-altitude Garhwal Himalayan valley that is often visited by nature lovers. Variety of all Himalayan flowers of various shapes, colors, sizes can be seen in Full Bloom like Blue Poppy, Aster, Brahma Kamal, Lilis etc. during July & August months and thereby, the Valley looks like a colorful carpet.

Hemkund Sahib is High Altitude Glacial Lake & a Sikh Place of Worship & pilgrimage site. There is Sikh Gurudwara and Lakshman temple on the banks of lake. It is known as world’s Highest Gurudwara since it is situated at an altitude 4329 meters. It is crystal clear water lake, set amidst tall mountains with reflections of the same on the lake water. One gets to see Brahma Kamal flower which grows abundantly here

Badrinath is a holy town situated at an altitude 3100 meters, on the banks of Alaknanda river & is one of most important of Four sites in Char dham yatra and has derived name from Badrinath Temple.

Vasudhara Fall is an enchanting place with free flowing water coming down from a height of around 450 feet about three km from Mana Village. On the way you can see some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Snow capped peaks, misty mountains, valleys filled with flowers and gushing river streams.

Mana Village is the last Indian village on the Indo-Tibet Border. Various places that can be visited around are Bheempul, Keshavprayag, Ved Vyas & Ganesh caves

Prayags (Confluence): On the way to Joshimath from Haridwar, One gets to see numerous prestine Prayags namely Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnapryag & Nandprayag. These prayags are the sangam points of Alaknanda, Bhagirathi, Pindar & Nandakini Rivers.

Itinerary: 

19 Jul

Reporting at Delhi via Train/Flight & Board a night train for Haridwar

20 Jul

Reach Haridwar. In the morning leave for Joshimath. Take a halt near

Devprayag

21 Jul

Trek from Govind Ghat to Ghangaria ( 13 Kms , 5-6 Hrs)

22 Jul

Trek from Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers  & back ( 10 Kms , 6 Hrs)

23 Jul

Trek from Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib & back (12 Kms, 8-9 Hrs)

24 Jul

Trek from Ghangaria to Govind Ghat (13 kms , 5 Hrs). Move to Badrinath.

In the evening, visit to the temple & darshan

25 Jul

Move to Mana village sightseeing & easy trek to Vasundhara Fall. Back to

Joshimath

26 Jul

Depart from Joshimath to Haridwar. Night train to Delhi

27 Jul

Reach Delhi & proceed towards Mumbai by Train/Flight
