KUNJARGAD (Kombadgad)

 About the Trek:                             Grade - Medium


The fort is named as Kunjargad due to its shape is like a large elephant. In Sanskrit, Kunjar means elephant. Kombad Gad is another name for this fort. This hill looks like an giant elephant so local people call it Kunjargad. 

The fort have Water cisterns, Ruins, Tunnel, Statue of Hanuman, Shiv Ling, Nandi and 4 Caves.

Trek Schedule

·        Saturday,  12/01/2019 : Catch 10:50 p.m. Kasara Fast Train from CSMT.

(Kindly check Train Time Table and catch the said train from respective stations).

·        Reach Kasara Station at about 1:18 a.m. and move towards Vihir village. Rest in a temple.

·        Start our  Trek after Tea and Breakfast. Reach the top in 2.5 – 3 Hrs.

·        Explore the surrounding for two hours get down to base Village.

·        After Lunch proceed towards Kasara Railway Station by private vehicle and try to catch train for Mumbai.

·  Trek Fees: Rs. 1400/- (This includes Tea, Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and Private Transport from Kasara to Kasara)..
