Valley of Flowers & Hemkund Sahib with Badrinath & Auli

 Valley of Flowers is a Vibrant National Park (UNESCO world Heritage Site), located in Uttarakhand State, India & is famous for its beautiful Meadows of Alpine Flowers & Variety of Flora. It is High-Altitude Garhwal Himalayan valley that is often visited by nature lovers. Variety of All Himalayan Flowers of various Shapes, colors, Sizes can be seen in Full Bloom like Blue Poppy, Aster, Brahma Kamal, Lilis etc. during July & August Months and thereby, the Valley looks like a colorful Carpet.

 Valley of Flowers trek comes to a Perfect Finish with the Visits to Hemkund Sahib & Badrinath.

Hemkund Sahib is High Altitude Glacial Lake & a Sikh Place of Worship & pilgrimage Site. There is Sikh Gurudwara and Lakshan temple on the banks of Lake. It is known as world’s Highest Gurudwara Since it is situated at Altitude 4329 mtrs.It is crystal clear water lake, set amidst tall mountains with reflections of the same on the lake water. One gets to see Brahma Kamal flower which grows abundantly here.

 Badrinath  is a holy town  situated at an Altitude 3100 mtrs, on the banks of Alaknanda River & is one of most important of Four Sites in Chardhan Yatra and has derived name from Badrinath Temple.  

 Auli is a popular Hill Station situated at an Altitude of 3050 Mtrs & is a Famous Ski Destination. It is surrounded by coniferous & Oak Forest & Various Mountains namely  Nandadevi, Dunagiri, Nilkanth,Hathi, Ghori. Popular places  in Auli are Viewpoints, Gurso Bugyal & Hanuman Temple

Mana Village is the last Indian village on the Indo-Tibet Border. Various places that can be visited around are Bheempul, Keshavprayag, Ved Vyas & Ganesh Caves.

Prayags (Confluence): On the way to Joshimath from Haridwar, One gets to see numerous Pristine Prayags Namely Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Karnapryag & Nandprayag. These prayags are the sangam points of Alaknanda, Bhagirathi, Pindar & Nandakini Rivers.

Itinerary: 

 Day 1 - 6 Aug - Reporting at Delhi via Train/Flight & Board Night Train for Haridwar

Day 2 - 7 Aug - Reach Haridwar. Visit Morning Ganga Aarti & leave for Joshimath. Take Halt near Devprayag

Day 3 - 8 Aug - Trek from Govind Ghat to Ghangaria    

( 13 Kms , 5-6 Hrs)

Day 4 - 9 Aug - Trek from Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers  & Back

( 10 Kms , 6 Hrs)

Day 5 - 10 Aug - Trek from Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib & Back

(12 Kms, 8-9 Hrs)

Day 6 - 11 Aug - Trek from Ghangaria to Govind Ghat

(13 kms , 5 Hrs).

Move to Badrinath. In Evening,  Visit to Temple & Aarti

Day 7 - 12 Aug - Move to Mana Village Sightseeing & Auli Sightseeing .Back to Joshimath

Day 8 - 13 Aug - Depart from Joshimath to Haridwar. Enroute Visit Karnyaprayag. Take Night Train to Delhi

Day 9 - 14 Aug - Reach Delhi & proceed towards Mumbai by Train/Flight
